It's a manipulation tactic to try to make others feel like they're in the wrong for supporting something progressive, like white people not having 90% or more of big roles in hollywood, even though white people aren't nearly 90% of America. I've seen the term "natural diversity" suggested at some point, which is odd considering we're talking about decisions that are, ultimately, being made by humans. another potential term would be "voluntary diversity", which is equally ineffective, as societal progress has historically never happened on its own. it's always been forced by an underclass, and never voluntarily on the part of the upper class Lol, these people must also think there was no resistance when fighting for equal rights. "We just naturally decided that equal rights should be a thing. Bridge? What's this about a bridge?". Seriously, you gotta think this mind state comes from the same type of people that were waiting on the other side of that bridge. Just toned down a hell of a lot because luckily society is somewhat moving in the right direction.
