Fasting just seems weird to me because it's natural to eat when you're hungry. This was the reason for my flippant response. It seems like a vehicle for a healthy diet rather than a healthy diet in itself. I get how skipping a meal could help reduce your calorie intake but I much prefer to eat smaller more nutritionally dense meals with a good exercize schedule and not feel like shit for half the day. ...
