'a serious escalation of his lying' Yeah no this is definitely not the first time he's done this. His base doesn't give a flying fart about what number it is. I know plenty of people backpedaling away from Trump. It's amazing to watch them. Good. Sad it took this long tho. The next sad part would be if the people wanting to challenge Trump for Repub candidacy "magically" forget their criticisms when he retains his position in their party, and they rally behind him for another election. Then the Dems select someone so underwhelming, and the third party voters are once again blamed for Trump being Pres when you can probably break down their votes to districts that go blue anyways (or crap for difference in red districts). Yeah, this sad tale is totally going to happen, but let's keep laughing at the Repubs only "now" speaking out until it becomes inconvenient for them to do so.
