Topic	The new Bill Burr Netflix special is pretty tryhard and cringey, tbh.

Probably a million times worse than anything burr ever said Bill Burr amplifies the things I don't like about Pryor the most. The condescending, superior, ironic political tone is really hard to pull off because 9/10 times, people rely on political/cultural agreement to get laughs and forget to include the funny. It makes sense because it really really works for the people that agree with you, as you can see with the undying for Burr and Carlin among the misanthropic, "society has gone mad and doesn't care about the REAL issues" crowd. Carlin is even worse at that and Lewis Black made a whole career out of it.
