I've said something along these lines in every topic I bothered arguing this on CE, and that's not a self-brag since it's a conclusion anybody with an IQ above 100 could figure out unless they were willingly being ignorant. It's dead ass obvious to anyone who attended college or talked to others who went through the process that it's only a meritocracy for a small percentage of the student population. For everyone else, it's legacy admissions, having money, athletic scholarships, or the big bad somehow only for dark skinned minorities affirmative action taking up all of the spots that could have gone to all da countless smart white students even though they somehow always seem to make up an alarmingly small percentage of the overall student population. But yeah AA is still somehow the number one problem preventing a meritocracy

I sure can't wait for our good friend Coffeebeanz who clearly thinks out every post she makes and never gets flamed to hell over it to pull out another dumbass graph showing raw percentages of race admissions for medical school that don't take into account other obvious factors like how many people applied to the school or what school it was since the prestige of the school drastically affects admissions.
