The neon demon is great and got a 16 minute standing ovation at cannes and only has a RT score of 59%, smdh politics I enjoyed the aesthetic and mood of the film and really enjoyed it but I absolutely see how many people would not like the film. It had like no plot. Everyone in this topic is really coming off as incredibly pretentious and snobby. It's the whole: "the world just doesn't get how artistic this movie is. It's beyond their understanding. Unlike us intellectuals." It's doing favorably in reviews. So most people enjoy it but not everyone. Complaining about that just shows ignorance.
