I dont see why people get so aggressive about new hardware being bad. Its been 7 years (by the time we get new ones). Unless youre 10 and have cheap parents, whats the big deal? The cost is a big deal to most people. Not everyone has a few extra hundred dollars just lying around. Especially since there's not much that really needs to change right now. We can wait a few more years until there is an actual need for new consoles. Years ago, 7 years was fine when we were making bigger leaps in gaming technology and such. Now, the technology for them feels like it's slowed down because they've done so well. They can also slow down on how fast they release new consoles. As I (and others) have said, it's just a cash grab at this point... Especially if they go down that road streamofthesky was talking about. Which is what I wanted to avoid to.
