Do you think the withdrawal symptoms are worse than the withdrawal symptoms of someone addicted to alcohol? Do you think marijuana should be classified as a Schedule I drug? Do you think it should be regulated and legal similarly to how nicotine and alcohol is?

Absolutely not. The withdrawal symptoms of THC are extremely mild and not even as bad some things that aren't scheduled at all. Alcohol is among the worst withdrawals in the world.

The problem with regulations is twofold.

1. Nicotine and Alcohol aren't regulated by the FDA at all. This is also why beer can get away with not having nutritional / calorie information on their packaging as that's an FDA regulation which doesn't apply.

2. People will lobby to keep those things illegal not because they believe they are bad but because they cannot be monetized to the same extent as their proprietary drugs.
