It's weird how when you look at videos of back then, it seems like a different time, but it really was basically the same as now. Only major difference is no smartphones back then. People were more social and less reliant on computers, malls weren't dying left and right, we didn't have GPS to navigate, television programming was rather different (though many tropes do persist to this day of course). People didn't know what was going to happen with Russia or China. You didn't have TSA fingering your butthole every time you went on a flight. ~~Well except for the GPS part.
