The problem is that this game took the balance of power way too far in the campers' favor. In its current state, this game punishes aggressive players and rewards defense players way too much, to the point where playing aggressively with anything but the 725 shotgun (which is a separate problem entirely) simply isn't viable.

You can put every single anti-camping tool possible on your class (EOD, Spotter, stun grenades) and every single stealth option possible (Ghost, a suppressor, and the not-always-active Dead Silence) and a decent amount of the time none of it will matter.


That's mostly just due to one of the biggest fundamental flaws core to the entire series at this point. They insist on reducing the time-to-action to near zero, which means you can't really pull the spawns away from the action, which means you're forced to make them semi-random based on where everyone is, which means maps have to be somewhat chaotic by design, which means snipers in a corner will never be surprised and will almost always find someone looking the wrong direction.

Until they accept that a little bit of a run from spawn to fight is acceptable, these games will continue to trip over spawn and camper problems.
