| Topic | Why are so many people on meds for depression or anxiety/panic? |

I've been on so many I can't even remember them all because nothing ever worked. A few years ago I just said screw it and stopped taking anything and I've actually been a whole lot better. Looking back, the medicine may have made things worse and I think some people may not truly need them and some doctors are over prescribing them. That's just me though. I'm not some anti-medicine person. A lot of people truly need it. It's just hard though because they're so many different ones and finding the right medicine for someone is tough because everyone's brain is different. p-m posted... One seems very critical and close to anti-psychiatry Scientology mumbo jumbo and the other is being concerned for your fellow human.
