For instance we may repeat everything over and over again, so each choice you make, sadly, does matter, even if it's not really a choice, because you will repeat it, and the results from that choice will also be repeated. Even if we are not yet to that stage, choices you make might actually move us closer to such a stage in the future and therefore, they still in fact mater. For now, there is no way to determine how much any one choice matters, if none of them matter, or if all of them matter.
