She was born in the Bronx and then when she was five her whole family moved to a wealthy suburb. They could afford it because her dad was the president of an Architecture Firm. She had an upper class education and went to a good University where she interned for senators. Then she moved back into the Bronx after her dad died and she graduated college to bartend and pretended like she never left. Oh, and she started her own book publishing company before that but it only lasted a year or so.
