I agree filming is a dick move and shouldn't be done. It's you seeming to expect behavior that is contradictory to what I think of as being expected in the situation that I was wondering about. I mean, even if some other people do open doors on calls, when I think of what I'm supposed to do when emergency responders are dealing with something it is precisely what you just said - stay the hell back so that I don't get in the way. I feel like my expected behavior is to stay the hell back and not do anything to try to help that you don't ask me to do.

But it sounds like that could result in you getting an attitude towards me for not deciding to jump in and be helpful...
