| Calwings 01/31/20 10:38:01 PM #3: | A pretty important character who died in the original DBZ and wasn't brought back with the Dragon Balls during that series (not gonna say who because spoilers) will suddenly be alive again in that movie and you'll have no idea how or why without watching Dragon Ball Super first. Besides that and a couple of new forms for Goku/Vegeta (which can easily be explained as blatant asspulls) there's not much else you need from Super to understand what's going on in the Broly movie.
