Topic	I haven't watched DragonBall since GT.

GT is not canon I'd personally recommend watching the 'Battle of Gods' and 'Resurrection of F' movies to start Super instead of the TV versions of those same arcs. Those two movies do a much better job at telling the story than the 27 episodes of the TV version did, so watch those and then start Super at episode 28.
