But the more I got to thinking about the reasons why I didn't want to put it on the list, the more I realized it actually did deserve a spot. Because, honestly, the biggest reason I haven't played Minecraft is just straight up hipster mentality. It got super popular really fast and a bunch of people insisted that I play it, and I was coming into my own around the age of 20 or so, and I was just like "no, it's probably not even that good." Exactly the same reasoning I haven't watched Game of Thrones. Like it's a really dumb attitude to have, and I don't even try to hide that any more. Minecraft is basically the ultimate sandbox, which in every regard should be my favorite thing ever. Like, when I play open world RPGs I am the type who does 99 hours of side quests before I go to the second step of the main quest. I love to just get lost and explore in games. So why the hell would I not play Minecraft? I'm just too cool for it, I guess. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
