The video store closest to where I lived didn't rent handheld games, and around this era I just didn't have money of my own to buy games nor did I really make any effort to keep up with what games were coming out. Most of what I heard was through word of mouth at school. I had one friend who LOVED this game and played it every day at school for like an entire semester and he talked about it all the time. I thought it seemed kinda neat but for whatever reason his passion for it was so over the top that it almost weirded me out a bit and I was like half afraid to play it for some dumb reason that made sense to an 11 year old. Looking back, the GBA era was really fantastic and I need to get around to this one before I die. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
