Same reason there was a large outcry when people started trying to do so with Trump. Diagnosis is hard enough professionally. And here we have hundreds of unqualified people projecting their political biases with the facade of concern about mental health. Meanwhile these conversations throw us back a couple of decades when it comes to appropriate response. The problem is that we're never going to actually have an actual conversation about the mental state of any of the candidates (as evidenced by Trump), so "don't speculate and diagnose" just serves more as "ignore their mental health". --- ...
