It's something akin to Catan's roads system I guess. I also hate Catan too. I find both games boring I'm more into Coop games so you might not like my opinion in general and find it of less value. Maybe put down games you like so you can find something out? I haven't played Catan yet, but I have played the Space version of it, lol. It's kind of the same game, but in space! But yeah, I don't know if I would like it or not. I like board games, but it just never appealed to me.
