That said, my daily life is already 80% isolated, with only caregivers in regular contact, so that may help. I live in an apartment building, and between that and my home-care I can't cut myself off entirely, especially with my dog still needing to be walked (she's well-trained, and will not do her business on the balcony!), but I'm doing my best. A young woman from my local mutual aid group has been coming round to take Pixie for walks (she always stays at least 2 metres away from me, as proscribed) and bring me groceries since the online delivery services are overwhelmed (I couldn't get a delivery slot for 10 days, & in some areas it's as much as 14), & I'm being careful to wipe down the pup's leash and collar and my new shopping, just in case, & my hands regularly, & I've been trying not to touch my face too much (I wear glasses, so it's impossible to not touch my face at all). If I'm lucky, and my caregivers are cautious, it may be months before I catch it.
