They said 1 in 4 people they've tested are positive, so following that statistic, there's likely 5 million New Yorkers out there with the virus. I believe they are focusing on testing people with symptoms at this point, and hopefully they have tested most of the people with symptoms and ttere isn't really 5 million people with the virus right now. If there is, we can only hope that italy/china etc had WAY more people with the virus than they thought, and it has a much smaller chance of causing serious problems or death.
