Id say some people are trying to prevent total economic collapse. Its going to affect many more than the superrich you seem pissed at. Its not just 'muh status quo' like you seem to be implying. Average people are the ones who are gonna lose their jobs or go bankrupt etc. I also dont think very many people at all are saying we should just soldier through and let it take its toll. Social distancing or whatever the fuck is widely accepted and the trend is moving that way across the country from both sides of the aisle. And nobody wants your dad to die ffs. Melodramatic ...
