I understand we all have emotions and feelings and we all find our ways to cope differently but even with all that we must truly be a light in one of our darkest times.

Id say some people are trying to prevent total economic collapse. Its going to affect many more than the superrich you seem pissed at. Its not just 'muh status quo' like you seem to be implying. Social distancing or whatever the fuck is widely accepted and the trend is moving that way across the country from both sides of the aisle.

Sadly, that's just who we are now. We can't stop seeing the other as a cartoonish supervillain. I can only call out my own side, but then, I've been doing that for years. We haven't got climate change initiatives because we refuse to put things thinking economically. We endlessly fight on abortion because we'd rather fight for the undo button than admit dumb decisions create the problem. We'd rather ridicule anti-vaxers that admit they're afraid and address those fears.Right to today where we're so concerned about fighting "the billionaires" we don't care if local shops or whole industries close and we come out of this with years of unemployment as a result. So busy on one problem we lose sight of problems we create in the process. Either that or I'm right and many want just that: a big economic excuse to stay home and watch netflix forever.
