It could also do with the ability for the health Care system to (at this point) meet the demand for ventilators. That was a big part in the deaths in Italy was shortage of ventilators. May also be the demographics which are contracting it. Quite interesting to analyze all the facets of the outbreak. Once this is more in our rearview I'd like to see the more in depth info on it we just don't have yet.
