The cases per capita are still quite a bit lower than most European countries except the UK. But still, that number is too low and it came here later.

That could change in a few days or a week. It could also do with the ability for the health Care system to (at this point) meet the demand for ventilators. That was a big part in the deaths in Italy was shortage of ventilators. May also be the demographics which are contracting it. Quite interesting to analyze all the facets of the outbreak. Yeah I was worried about that. On the flipside in a more optimistic outlook - while it is true you don't die immediately upon being confirmed to be Covid-19 positive, our confirmed cases is skyrocketing, and has been for almost the past week, yet our death rate has remained relatively the same. Compare that to Italy, which has had a dramatic increase in both cases and deaths. So it does seem to imply that the demograph, or something else in the USA, is making it so most people who get the disease don't die, or show mild to moderate cases that can be self-treated at home. It's why it would be super nice and helpful if the WHO or CDC gave out actual statistics on this virus, rather than just raw "This person is confirmed" and "This person has died" numbers. There's so much gray area to the Covid-19 that we really need to know more about the cases themselves, rather than the numbers, to really get an accurate look of what things are going to look like in a month from now. --- Each person might see a rose with a different shade of red, but the fact that we can all agree on is beauty -- that is a miracle. -Michea, FFXI ...
