Anyway, I did just that. My anxiety about this virus isn't as bad as no money for bills.

the state will look into your payroll history and they could contact your employer finding out why you dont show any earned income.

then they can say you requested to be taken off payroll which would be denying work. Which would either not get you unemployment or a severely diminished amount of unemployment.

either way, when you voluntarily refuse work it will hurt you when it comes to your claim.

and your company pays into unemployment so dont be surprised if they dont lie to your benefit. They probably wont want to pay for someone who voluntarily chooses to not work.
