The bike chase was a fun little bit of nostalgia, even if trying to hit guys on bikes with swords is as clunky here as it was in the original! Roche so far is basically what would happen if you created a character where "loose cannon" is literally his only character trait...and I'm not sure it's a bad thing! I liked the backstory for Jessie, and I liked Cloud showing genuine interest in learning more about it. Fighting all the waves to buy time for Jessie was pretty fun. I like Wedge warning Cloud that Jessie's just a player. Whoa, I thought for sure that ghost stuff would just turn out to be a dream.
