| LeperMessiahXX 04/17/20 11:40:04 PM #9: | This is ultimately the scariest part of the pandemic, it's a new virus that we don't know how to treat. All we really know is how to treat the symptoms, and there is a very good chance that 6 months from now we will probably find out that some of what we did to treat patients was ultimately the wrong things to do. That's another reason we need to flatten the curve, even if half the population gets this and that's not preventable, getting it 6 months from now you could be a lot better off since we will have far more knowledge on what this is and what treatments do and don't work. We're basically flying blind and hoping the stuff we do know based on other viruses is the same here, and we won't know until they fail. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
