Leaders and public speakers should know when it's appropriate to brainstorm out loud to their audience, particularly when their audience is millions of people. It was a stupid thing to suggest and brainstorming isn't an excuse. It was better left unsaid. This! When you're in a position of power, you have a certain responsibility, much like being a parent. You may like it, but you've got to accept it. It's why celebrities can be followed and dissected; people worship them and put them in that power.
