I mean yeah, what else would you give for their cause of death? You don't need to be tested for a specific disease for doctor or a medical examiner to certify your death certificate. Especially not at this time when it's probably the most reasonable cause if they had no other significant health issues and they don't have the resources to test cadavers.

They're not labeling people who get shot or run over by a car as death due to covid. There's a reason why medical examiners have the job of looking into deaths that are suspicious of being due to non-natural causes.

Cause would be listed as unknown if its, you know, unknown. Listing it as deaths by coronavirus when you dont actually know what the cause is is just being disingenuous.
