I recall a discussion years ago, a friend posted on Facebook about not wanting negative opinions when no opinions were asked for. I do not know what is the context of the post but few of us chimed in and expressed our own beliefs that sometimes people need to be harsh with their opinions especially if something might be detrimental. Depends on the person. If i know nothing I say will make them even consider changing it becomes a why bother scenario to me.
