Kleenex is a brand and, bandaid is a brand.
its the same situation of generic trademark. Just cause you dont personally called sodas/ pops coke doesnt mean nobody does.

This just reminded me of a couple more that we use at the hospital: everyone here calls elastic wrap ace bandage whether its Ace brand or not.
And all IV moisture barriers are called Aqua Guard even though the ones we are supplied are Anchor brand lol
