Topic	Bravely Default or Octopath Traveler
Anclation 05/07/20 5:26:35 PM #3:	Definitely Bravely Default, despite the shaky second half. Octopath is painfully predictable and formulaic (every chapter except one has pretty much the exact same structure), and doesn't really do enough with its 8 main characters concept to justify sacrificing the grand story and extensive interaction between party members that other JRPGs, including BD, have. I also never really liked OT's art style, while I found BD to be super pretty. Both games have great soundtracks, but I like the music in BD slightly more. The first half of BD is wonderful, and even the second half has plenty of points in its favor, with challenging boss battles and interesting story and character development. --- Yeah...
