Sometimes this bias is unconscious (woman shifts her purse to the other side when walking past minorities), sometimes its conscious (calling 911 because a black man told you to leash your dog, or wants to do a barbecue in a spot people often barbecue, or pulling a gun on people who want to use your campground, or saying that its reasonable that a woman was shot and killed in her sleep by police who assumed her home was dangerous) --- ...
