God I still hate Zuko. Dave Filoni came out recently and said there was a fourth book he had planned where Zuko would forgive Azula and finally come together as a family. It was supposed to show that he had learned from Uncle Iroh finally. A dual redemption arc.

I used to hate Zuko too but for some reason that changed. I thought it was great seeing him grow as a fighter and as a person. His betrayal in book 2 and subsequent attempt to kill Aang is almost irredeemable, and he knows how hated he is but he still ends up doing the right thing and spends the rest of his life trying to make up for the shit the fire nation (and he himself) pulled, kinda cool

I'm glad they didn't do a book 4. I thought book 3 was a bit sloppy. The show had 2 good seasons and one excellent one, I feel like they'd have jinxed themselves by doing more. Plus, I don't think Azula deserves redemption. I prefer most bad guys to stay bad
