The American side of Sony are trying to force even Japanese developers to meet American "standards" to release their games on PS4 even in Japan. That's why games like Omega Labyrinth and Hyperdimension Neptunia have been getting more Switch releases these days, and why the Senran Kagura franchise is all but dead now after making their home on Playstation consoles for a while.
