It just looked super odd in this case since he was proved wrong on it, even replied to the tweet in question, and still doubled down on the original narrative anyway. yeah - doubling down is his usual behaviour. he's not even one of my favourites or anything, he's just someone who i've been listening to for ten years and know all of this stuff to be totally consistent, for better or for worse, with his usual MO. more than anything else, he said a lot of eye opening things on audio over the years about wwe's constant treatment of black wrestlers as a minstrel show, that i would never have been aware of myself, and so i never want to be quick to dismiss his points on race as i've learned a decent amount from them. but he is attacking the wrong thing here and it's frustrating all around --- Born to bear and bring to all the details of our ending To write it down for all the world to see ...
