So tonight is the final night of Kairi Sane's contract. She'll be taping tonight and next weeks RAW before heading back to Japan. Supposedly it's on "good terms" and she'll be acting as an ambassador for WWE in Japan when the pandemic subsides.

Oh, I talked with my buddy who wrestles the other day about SpeakingOut, which apparently hit smaller indies.

Apparently PWX in Pittsburgh, a guy whose gimmick was evil Aquaman that went over about as much as you'd expect became head trainer there because everyone else thought the owner was a piece of shit and left for Ryse Wrestling. From the stories I heard about fish man, I was completely unsurprised when he told me that he was being a sex pest to a bunch of women, so he tried to apologize poorly, was told to fuck off since he's a douchebag otherwise, and then he deleted his social media and then moved to Florida and tried to convince my buddy to move there too and he was like "That's okay." Apparently this dude is trying to restart his career entirely under a different alias.

The owner, meanwhile, got exposed for being a piece of shit and while he hasn't closed down, it's doubtful a lot of the people who he had left (which was dwindling anyway) and it's likely they won't re-open after COVID.

Ryse Wrestling wasn't really hit by SpeakingOut, but they were evicted because they couldn't pay for their venue. They have backups in mind.

Black Diamond Wrestling in the West Virginia area was also hit because "the owner, not baby face hero The Ax Murderer, the other guy" was exposed for not paying people and creeping on girls constantly. The owner closed down BDW as a result because he got a huge backlash from the wrestlers and local fans.

Idle AEW Dark thoughts:

- Roche Chanel is still the absolute worst. She had a spot in the match where she combed Hikaru Shida's hair and I just don't understand why they didn't have Shida murder her in a minute flat.
- Tino Sabbotelli aka Sabby looked legitimately great in his match. Like, I've always thought he was kinda mediocre judging by his NXT work, but holy crap he stepped his game up and it isn't just because he was in there with Best Friends. Really impressed by him.
- Ricky Starks continues to be just the absolute package. This is a guy who with a couple more years will be one of the greats. Such a good signing from AEW.
- Anthony Robert is actually really good himself, but he's super generic. Give him a decent gimmick or something and he could be good.
- Oh, Ricky Starks & Cage are teaming up now. We got Taz managing him too, which should actually benefit him a lot. Any excuse for Taz to have a mic is good.
- Butcher and the Blade are such a fun tag team. I know people hated how they debuted at the end of the show like they did, but they're just really, really good and vicious. I'm glad they're getting a chance to tear it up now.

Actually, courses like those are set up for x amount of hours or x amount of days, and usually they do go by increments of 15 days.

I'm pretty sure Sammy said it was 30 day suspension plus mandatory sensitivity training though.

This AEW Dynamite was tons of fun.

- Eddie Kingston looks like a star with 2 minutes of mic time. I'm glad he came across so well here. Cody defending the TNT Title like he has is really showcasing a ton of stars now, and I love the way he's doing it. Kingston is such an awesome signing.
- Britt Baker is still an incredible character. Random segments every other week is perfect until she's healed.
- Taz is the best manager and best promo right now. This man is just unbelievably good. Ricky Starks being paired with him will be gold.
- Young Bucks vs. Butcher & Blade in Falls Count Anywhere was a phenomenal match. Seriously amazing stuff. They did a lot of cool and fun stuff in this match.
- Ivelisse and Diamante beat the shit out of each other and both girls looked great. Excited to see more of them.

Them's my main thoughts on Dynamite.

AJ Styles still talking about Heyman.

It came down to Money in the Bank, I found out that my guys were getting released, I was upset. I wanted to go talk to Vince, but its already in motion and already been done. Paul Heyman pulls me into his office and tells me he had nothing to do with it and knew nothing about it. If he knew Gallows & Anderson were getting released, he would have fought for them and thats why they didnt tell him they were getting released. I said, Okay, I appreciate that, it makes a lot of sense.
It was later, I told a friend what was said and he told me what he knew, which is that Gallows & Anderson werent on the list, but Paul Heyman spoke out abundantly like we gotta get these guys out of here. We dont need them, theyre getting paid too much. The one thing Paul Heyman is good at is talking, hes very convincing. One thing led to another, Paul advocated to get them released. Their name wasnt on the list until Paul brought it up. I think the reason why he did what he did, well, hes just a liar, but its because he knew he had nothing we wanted to do with them. He didnt want to get them to the next level or do anything for them. The best way to do that after what he said, was to get them out of there.
The reason I went to SmackDown is because I couldnt stand looking at him. I cant stand a liar. Im a grown man, youre a grown man, why lie? I talked to a lot of guys about this situation. You wouldnt believe how many people that I work with despise this guy because of his lies and hed find ways to throw them under the bus when he screwed up. I heard this from several people. Its almost hard to find someone who likes him. I didnt know this, I assumed everyone liked him and I was the only one. Vince is a very smart man and he can see through a lot of crap and I think he saw what everybody knew. Youve done some great things in the past, but youre not well liked here, hit the bricks. The only person he can blame for this is himself. Just dont lie to people.

AJ Styles continues to think there's some kind of mythical list that Heyman put Gallows and Anderson on when it's a case of getting rid of all of the guys that recently signed for obscenely large contracts to keep them from going to other companies. And that for some reason Gallows and Anderson wouldn't get fired if Heyman didn't say anything.

Additionally, he's watched people around him be lied to by Vince on a constant basis but "can't stand to look at liars" and whatever nonsense he says. He's not the smartest.

I can actually buy Vince not initially having Gallows and Anderson on the cut list because they're easy to overlook and just lump in with AJ, and it's not like the rest of the list suggested Vince was looking for people he thought were overpaid as much as people they didn't have any use for whatsoever and/or didn't want to be there, anyway. And Heyman's only a few tiers down on the asshole list, if even that far. So if multiple people told him it was Heyman before he even went to Vince, then I think it's entirely possible.

That said, I also don't think it matters, since the answer is both of them are assholes and so either scenario is possible.

It would be nice if top feuds didn't revolve around The Four Horsewomen so much. Getting Asuka in the mix is one thing, but Alexa, Ronda, and Nia (yeah I know, she sucks, but hear me out) helped cut down the overexposure problem a bit. It's as if WWE can only use Charlotte and maybe 1-2 other women as title feuds at any moment, and then everyone else just gets kinda...lost. Becky and Sasha sure were lost in there for a while. I'm just trying to wonder if it's a "the other girls suck complete balls," problem, or WWE doesn't know they exist problem.

Weren't Sonya and Mandy starting to get somewhere on Smackdown? I kept hearing Sonya had great promos during that little feud, and then just...vanished. Riott, Bianca, Shayna, AND Naomi all showed back up the last two weeks as if they were forgotten in a bin somewhere for like 3-6 months. I know WWE tends to do the, "Wait your turn, and we'll push you" sort of cycle, but it's like, "Here's a ball. Go play with it until we need you. Or post stupid shit on social media."

Playing wait for the ball doesn't work when they all come across as losers most time. Like anyone who was killed by Baszler in the Elimination Chamber? You pushed her that hard to make her disappear for months for literally no reason while Ruby Riott is almost crying because she beat freaking Peyton Royce and people are expected to care.

Sonya Deville not getting a great push out of her break up with Mandy is baffling too. Even more confusing is why Bayley is holding the Smackdown title right now when she's tag champ. Why are we not giving someone else the rub with the SD title now? Bayley doesn't need it right now.

My main thought is there should always be 6-8 high quality people on either brand who look like top tier, or can conceivably stay strong enough that they don't look like idiots when they get the "OMG ZIGGLER TITLE SHOT OUT OF NOWHERE WTF?!" treatment. WWE cannot seem to just settle on those people, or if they do, never fucking stop to the point it is ridiculous (Reigns/Charlotte/Brock for example). I just wish they knew which people they wanted to make that "Ok, he's not the champ because Drew is, but he's next. He HAS to be next. How do we get him there?" I'd respect them more if they just said, we won't push who you want us to, but we know who we want as top guys. It's more like they don't fucking know...

That seems to be missing on both sides, male and female.

AEW beat NXT in viewers and doubled them for the entire show in the demo.

AEW has been getting a positive increase in viewership after Fyter Fest and NXT's got no bump from Great American Bash.

All of this just in time for sports to come back and kill them dead.

NXT probably shouldn't have hyped up William Regal's big announcement being Keith Lee having a big announcement that he's just giving up one of his titles and then give it away at the start of the show. I imagine people abandoned ship after that.
