TopicA PASSING Grade in Canada is 50. In America it's 60. WHICH should it be???

It's relative. 60 in the majority of the US might be as good as 35 or 40 in most of Canada when you consider how the US has been handling everything in the last twenty years.


I'm pretty sure you had to have a C to pass back in my day (we used dino's to get to school). I graduated with a 4.0 and a full scholarship (Which I didn't use), but I don't think you passed with a D back then.

Not sure when that changed. I have a cousin who graduated not that many years ago though and now you can have over a 4.0 lol (extra credit etc). I think the whole system got overhauled awhile ago.
