The neighbor that called the police was asked if there was physical violence going on and he basically said "sure, whatever gets the cops out here faster, I can't sleep" The cops only quickly mumbled "phoenixpolice" rather than properly announcing themselves and stayed out of view of the peephole. They shot him within 2 seconds of opening the door, in the back.
