Yes, we debate Universal Health Care. We debate the role of police in society. We debate taxes. And those are debates on merit. But when one of them tells me they regret voting for Trump, I'm not going to throw it in their face and insist "You haven't changed!" The ability to make a mistake and both acknowledge and remedy it is a good characteristic and shouldn't be throw back into people's faces. This sort of makes sense, but I'd say there's a big difference between your friends and career Republicans. The latter group had more reasons to see this coming and more power to prevent it. It's good that they've changed their minds now, but that shouldn't mean we can't criticize them for making this possible in the first place. --- Congrats to 2020 GotD Guru champ azuarc! ...
