Food was pretty good. Drinks (as in alcoholic) were good, too. And I didn't mind the lemonade and milk. But I just got thirsty for soda after a little while...

I had sit down dinners, as well... I remember those... And I remember late night food. We went to get pizza one night. It was really late. But they made us a couple...

Yeah. I don't remember the soda machine. I did know alcohol cost extra for me. But I still got pina colodas for dinner. And the cute waiter from dinner also worked in the club. And got me drink there, as well...

The cruise I went on was fun...

That being said, I think it was Carnival, but I can't really remember. I didn't plan the trip. I just went on it...

Yeah it might not have been Carnival then, I heard those are good to go on with kids, so there are often alot of children on them.

I looked up this video on their buffet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWotn9ZL9bM

And yeah that looks far inferior to what was on royalcarribians princess of the sea buffet. I did alot of research before going on one, and the ship I went on was one of the better rated for food (food is life).

I'm sure there is a range as well between different carnival ships, but the princess for instance would make fresh waffles/eggs (scrabmled/sunny/omletts with different things in it (I don't eat eggs though), they had fresh and good sausage etc (Enough stuff even for me to eat breakfast...and I normally don't).

Lunch was usually just the buffet in the middle of the day, but the buffet usually had whatever 3 choices were going to be available at dinner (Varied per day) along with steak/fried chicken/ham/pizza etc. I didn't really like the buffet that much though tbh (I'm really picky on my food), but at least you could get specific foods like waffles/steaks etc made just for you. Chicken was good (usually had a few options) etc.

Still I generally search (or did before the virus) for the best buffets in an area, usually they have all you can eat prime rib + crab legs (king usually), and high quality foods (ranging from 40-60$ a pop), so it would be REALLY hard for a cruise buffet to impress me.

My ship prob had one of the best buffets on a cruise and I still was not impressed, but the sit down dinners were good, and I don't usually eat much outside of a main meal each day so it was fine. I mainly went to the breakfast buffet with my uncle (or the breakfast sit down meal) because he likes......eating after waking up (the savage).

I would get fresh tea as well, and usually snack on potato's/meats etc a bit. Same with lunch (but refill my strawberry (with real strawberries) lemonade. Then I'd eat basically 2 meals worth of food at dinner hehe.
