Topic | Tenet opens #1 in the United States with 20 MILLION..but only a B CINEMASCORE!!. |
streamofthesky 09/06/20 5:15:47 PM #2: | Yikes, current situation or not, $20M opening weekend on a $250M film (is that even including advertising?) sounds pretty bad. It'd need very long legs to even break even, and it sounds by all accounts like a pretty terrible movie, so it's not gonna get them. Full Throttle posted... Disney opted to go for the 30 dollar + Disney+ route for Mulan which irked cineplexes although it did open in some markets such as Thailand, Taiwan, Slovakia with a 6M opening.Wait, you need to subscribe to Disney+ AND pay $30?! That's fucking insane, what idiot would pay that much? I thought $20 on its own for a movie w/o a subscription fee was pushing it....Disney is so fucking greedy.... ... Copied to Clipboard! |
