My mom and I, for example, agree on alot of things ideologically. But I cant stand hearing her discuss politics because she basically regurgitates the same talking points you hear on MSNBC without providing any of her own analysis. It doesnt help that she only got invested into politics when Trump became president. Like Im almost 30 years younger than her and yet Ive been following politics twice as long as she has. It feels kind if phony, if you will.
