| AngelsNAirwav3s 10/07/20 7:42:56 PM #7: | I havent seen the movie, but from what I have heard it starts off on the negatives of far right Islam, when the dad flies out to go pick up his second wife. It alienates the daughter where she seeks out the cuties group to feel appreciated. They then see lewd music videos (very similar to WAP coincidentally) and see the response how everyone says its great and gets so many likes. The group then tries to mimic it. The movie ends when the main character rejects these lewd dances and opts to do more traditional childhood activities like jump rope. Overall the message of the movie is much more a conservative message of traditional family values, against the over sexualization of women in our culture and the damage it does to kids. I think the main complaint comes from the movie having waaaay too much sexual shots of the kids, and could have made the point just fine w/out most of that stuff. --- Hello world! ...
