"hit weakness lol" is rpg combat 101 but smt fans think they're clever tacticians for doing it

Cept SMT has more than just weaknesses. They actually do more than just increase the damage you deal. They give you more turns, which the enemy can exploit as well. Not to mention the penalty for missing/dealing no damage. Unlike other games, you lose turns for failing. Having your attack get drained or reflected will just end your turn.
