Looking at "Uncle Grandpa" gives me headaches, "Steven Universe" does too, but the stories are amazing for some -shit-tastic show(s). But so did Spider-Man (90's) with that "SHOCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR". I reiterate: Story has upgraded, but animation has suffered because it's less about the pictures, and more about the stories.
