I'm definitely open to bad decisions were made, but minus the appliances and a few odd quirks that got overlooked I had an idea what I was getting into. Not sure I got scammed though, my agent even helped me save $6k on the list price by knowing the selling agent is a dishonest guy. Listing agent wanted to accept my initial offer BUT still be allowed to show, so basically he could lie and say there were other offers. My guy wasnt having that and told me ain't nobody looking at this house, stand firm, decline the offer and shoot a smaller one again in a couple weeks --- "You cannot even beat somebody into that level of stupidity and delusion."
