| wolfy42 10/16/20 8:37:30 PM #15: | It should be mentioned I lived in CA most of my life and I volunteered at polling places for about 20 of em (still have the pins) so the whole mail in/drop box voting in WA is both new to me (seemed weird 4 years ago as well) and very different. At least with the voting booths in CA, it was a computer program that took the votes, and it identified who was voting each time. I get that could be tampered with, but so could the computer that actually TALLYs the votes in WA, so that isn't really any different. Meanwhile the votes are not nearly as secure (or don't seem like it to me), but whatever, people here are fine with it, so I won't rock the boat...but it's weird. I wouldn't have volunteered this year for sure, due to the virus and me being high risk, and I wouldn't have 4 years ago due to my wife's illness, but I did every other year I was able to before that. --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos."
